…Dary! Legendary!!!
Hello everyone, I’m Jeffrey Rex!
Le Tour de France 2011, that is the scene you need to picture. This once so beautiful sport has gone through a metamorphosis! It’s no longer the sport in which athletes beautifully showed us how you can tame the roads majestically with a bicycle – this sport event is now a media event in which you are lucky to survive a day with no injuries at all. This event has blood and dirt on their hands.
Le Tour de France 2011 was depicted as the battle between Alberto Contador & Andy Schleck. Everyone was ready for a tough battle, would it be the best rider in the world (IMHO), Alberto Contador, or would the better team Leopard Trek, with Andy Schleck, prevail?
We were all anxious to find out. But already on the first day, drama and nerves set in. A fan standing to close to the road caused a rider to crash, but the crash also threw a hole half of the Tour de France-riders into the ground. Including Alberto Contador. However, the crashes didn’t end there. The following days, captains were eliminated due to pressure, speed, anxiousness and whatnot. Including the Dauphine Liberé winner, Bradley Wiggins from Sky Pro Cycling & the Legend Alexandre Vinokourov. But these crashes aren’t that firmly set in our minds at this hour. We remember how ASO, Prudhomme & the rest of the guys behind the Tour de France didn’t plan a good enough road, and that they didn’t have their men ready for the fierce battle.
The first rest day is now almost over, and we remember how Nicki Sorensen, SaxoBank-SunGard, was ripped off his bike by a motorcycle, and how a car, with French Television Logoes printed on, collided with riders Juan Antonio Flecha & Johnny Hoogerland – this is printed in our memory! This horrific incident and the barbed wire tearing into Johnny Hoogerland’s legs and whatnot terrifies us!
And most importantly, terrifies the riders! I beg of you, keep them safe – at least for the remainder of this years Tour de France – then you can plan a better road next year!

#10: C’est la guerre!
#9: It's been a long time..
Hello everyone, I'm Jeffrey Rex!
As mentioned in the title, it has been a very long time since my last post. That is due to a lot of things.
Since the last time I've done a lot of things, I finished my second year at Odsherreds Gymnasium and attended the Vig Festival in Vig, Denmark. These things have kept me busy, but I'll still finish my projects, just not as thoroughly as hoped.
This means the NFL preview will be shorter than expected - but indeed will appear at some time soon.
But another project will also make its way into this blog, Le Tour de France. I'll mention some things that has happened in my blog as the days go by.
Soon the first Tour de France mention will arrive...

#8: NFL Picks - AFC East: Miami Dolphins
…Dary!! …Legendary!!!
Hello everyone, I’m Jeffrey Rex!
After The Buffalo Bills review I move on to another team in the AFC East, The Miami Dolphins.
The Dolphins:
The Dolphins play in Miami, Florida and are used to go up to North-East America, more precisely to New York & Massachusetts. Once again we’re dealing with a team that’s an underdog in the race for AFC East supremacy – like the Bills the Dolphins lack the front figure like Rex Ryan & they lack the amazing offense that is the Patriots & the Jets.
With no real danger on the offensive side of the ball they added Brandon Marshall (in 2010), so that they now have two very good athletes in Ronnie Brown & Brandon Marshall – we’ll get to the defence later on. Not a lot of years ago the Dolphins added a quarterback that, in my opinion, is a very talented guy – but unfortunately for Henne as well as the Dolphins, he has yet to show remarkable talent in the NFL. Henne has been up against the former Jets QB Chad Pennington, but definitely proved that arm strength is an advantage of his. I really like their chances with this guy alongside Jake Long, Brandon Marshall & Ronnie Brown – to name a few. If we look on the statistic side of things the Dolphin offence has been rather mute, and sometimes boring – this has at times been due to injuries. A good example of really poor offensive football came against the Chicago Bears when they lost 16-0 at home (w/ Tyler Thigpen at QB, if I remember correctly). Defensively, however, the Dolphins have been rather good! Both on the passing side and the running side – so that’s something to be proud of. If I remember correctly their defensive backs are rather young and very talented.
I have a lot of faith in their defence, and therefore I’d like to see a stronger offense to complement their talented defence. So when the draft was upon them they of course looked towards offensive talent. With 6 choices in the draft they chose 1 offensive lineman, 1 Running back, 1 Tight end, 1 Wide receiver, 1 Defensive back & 1 defensive tackle. The biggest name of their draft of course came in the 1st round with Mike Pouncey – brother of Maurkice Pouncey. The Dolphins of course hope that talent is in their blood – and of course it must be there, since he was drafted in the 1st round. I believe that these people can help their team tremendously – but, some might say that this team needs a much more talented quarterback.

Hello everyone, I’m Jeffrey Rex!
As I mentioned on Twitter I’m going to begin picking the division winners and so on and so forth. In these posts I will try not to mention the lockout, but, of course they’ll have some sort of impact on rookies – but I will try not to mention the lockout a lot.
I begin with the AFC, more precisely AFC East. This division is a really tough division to guess because of especially two very good teams – The New York Jets & The New England Patriots. But nonetheless I’m going to review every team’s draft and opportunities in the coming season.
The Bills:
The first team I will review is the Buffalo Bills from Buffalo, New York. This team is a very tough team to evaluate because they have a lot of spirit – and therefore they can surprise a lot of people in the coming season. The squad was very interesting going into the draft and had a lot of needs in the draft. If we look at the Special Teams first here’s what I have to say; the Kicker Rian Lindell & the Punter Brian Moorman are the most interesting people to talk about – these guys are really experienced and therefore a lot of trust is thrust upon them. This brings me on to the Defence – The Bills had a lot of problems defending the run last season and therefore that was a very tough spot to fill – I believe they were the worst team against the run. On the other hand, this team was very good against the pass – they were the third best team against the pass, so that is a statistic that is worth remembering. This team also have a lot of interesting people on the defence; Jairus Byrd, Terrence McGee, Leodis McKelvin, Kyle Williams, Paul Posluszny & Shawne Merriman. These people definitely point towards a great season in 2011 – not to mention the draftees, some of which I’ll comment on in a bit. Offensively I’m not thrilled about this team, although I do have a couple of guys I’m really excited about. The team was the 18th best running team and the 24th best passing team – and also the 28th best scoring team; so definitely not a lot to be thrilled about in the statistic section. But still I enjoy the way Fitzpatrick plays, and I enjoy watching their games because they always give their all.
On the coaching front the Buffalo Bills have Chan Gailey as Head Coach – I really support the former Dallas Cowboys Head Coach, and I have a lot of faith invested in him. I definitely hope this team will surprise a lot of people this season – The team ended last season with a 4-12 record, so they definitely have to get better!
In the draft the Bills were given a good opportunity to bolster either their defence or their offense – because they had the 3rd pick in the draft. The team ended up drafting a total of 9 guys, 2 Defensive linemen, 3 Defensive backs, 2 Linebackers, 1 Offensive lineman & 1 Running back. I’m going to review their first, and the 3rd overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. The Buffalo Bills picked Defensive Tackle Marcell Dareus from the University of Alabama. He seems like a very aggressive and talented lineman, and I definitely believe this guy will help this team a lot, and hopefully he’ll help the team towards a better season – and a better running defence!
After I’ve focused on each team in the AFC East, I’ll try to guess their position in this division!

#6: FC Barcelona = European Champions!
Hello everyone I'm Jeffrey Rex
So this evening the spanish soccer/football team FC Barcelona won the UEFA Champions League - probably the most respected trophy in the soccer world. The spanish champions FC Barcelona met the english champions Manchester United - in a game that was hyped amazingly in Europe. I'm not really a fan of FC Barcelona, & I really am NOT a fan of Manchester United - but, I hoped for a good game in which Manchester would lose, and that Messi would destroy them... I believe it was pretty close to that - Barcelona defeated Manchester United 3-1 in London, England.
My father & I bet 100 danish crowns that Barcelona would win, and ended up with 200 danish crowns at the end of the night - so to sum up, I'm pretty satisfied!
To be honest, I dreamed of a Chelsea-FC Barcelona game when the tournament started. But, no Chelsea fan could say that they deserved to be in that game, unfortunately...
So hopefully next year we'll see Chelsea, and their captain John [J.T.] Terry lift the trophy!

#5: A Piece of Cake!
Hello everyone I'm Jeffrey Rex
As you may have read in my last post, I was worried about the english test - but as I predicted, I overcame my worry and made a great essay and some great grammar choices. To be honest I think the grammar was to easy - or, I had expected a lot more. Now that this test is history, only 1 test and 1 exam remain - I'm worried about them, but then again It'd be weird if I wasn't just a little bit worried about an exam.
But as you've now read this assignment was a piece of cake, and now I move towards another test. A test that won't be as easy as the one I took today.

#4: English test
Hello everyone I'm Jeffrey Rex.
Only about 11 hours until my scriptual English test, throughout the entire day I've been cold, cool & calm, but, guess what just happened? I got worried, just like I always get when I'm this close to a test.
This is a subject I know by heart, but I still feel torn - like I'm really confident, but, also really worried about the different terms & I'm worried about commas. This is something I always do, I build up a 'fear' of losing, or rather failing - not failing the test, but i 'fear' that I'll let myself down.
I'm really used to this, but, it still annoys me to death - I've a lot of things on my mind about this test, not only my own level & excellence but also my handwriting & my printer. I'm worried - I really am, but, eventhough I've doubt & feel worried I know I'll get through this, & if I'm right - I'll get over this easily...
Still I am worried, but, this is nothing - considering how worried I am about the Natural Geography-exam.
But anyways - wish me luck!

#3: What's on my mind, at this moment?
Hello everyone I'm Jeffrey Rex!
So this is the post I've been hyping, in this post you'll see numerous things that worry &/or interests me at this moment. These things include School, Problems worldwide, Movies, Games & an app I really enjoy at this moment. So let's get started with my first topic of the post:
School exams &/or tests of the year:
At this moment I'm studying for a Scriptual English test of the year, it'll probably include test of my spelling, stylistics & there will probably also be an essay or something like it, that I'll need to show my talent in. This test doesn't really worry me, since I see myself as being a Danish English-expert, & I DO receive great grades in English - so as I said this really doesn't worry me that much.
In other news, I just turned in an assignment in which I wrote about the Tv-show Skins & its remake in England, & how the PTC worry to much about this show - I think it's a great paper I've written, but, let's see what my teachers say. I have another test of the year coming up, this is a test of my skills in the subject of AT - a subject in which you need to show how you combine 2 or more subjects, in order to present a topic, my topic is Genesis, & my subjects are Religion & Biology - now this test is something I AM worried about, I don't feel to strong in the biologic part of this assignment, but thankfully this is 'just' a test.
My last worry is a very real exam, the subject is Natural Geography - which consists of topics like farming, the weather & eartquakes - don't get me wrong the final topic I mentioned IS indeed an interesting topic, but the rest don't seem to interest me at all, & my skills in this subject just aren't there. So this is something I'm really worried about - I guess you could say that there is a very real possibility that I'll receive D or maybe if I'm lucky C. So I hope God will help me here - I've got to be honest, this is what worries me the most.
But let's move on, talking about school indeed IS boring.
Problems worldwide:
Now, there are a lot of problems in the world - some more serious than others, but I'll mention soem that really ARE on my mind.
Another ash cloud from Iceland has arrived to annoy numerous tourists, football fans & airlines in all of europe. This doesn't bode well for the UEFA Champions League Final. My second & final worldwide problem some would say isn't even worldwide, but, I'll let that slide - the NFL have been in problems for a very long time now, & players need to keep themselves in shape, without their coaches & training facilities, I believe. This worries me a lot becuase I love to watch the NFL, & this seriously hurts the NFL teams as well as talents. Those were my worries worldwide.
Media, etc:
In the movie section I'm really happy for the team behind the Killing, Nicolas Winding Refn & Lars Von Trier, all of which are Danish or of Danish descent. The two first mentions (The Killing & Winding Refn) have both won an award for being talented &/or good, but, I bet a lot of you are worrying why I'm happy for Lars Von Trier, considering his problems - but that is because 'every publicity is good publicity.
In the gaming section I just received a PlayStation 3 version of Dante's Inferno Divine Edition, which I have yet to try out. I'm really looking forward to two ongoing franchises' latest games ''Madden NFL 12'' & ''Assassin's Creed Revelations'', these are two games that sound terrific & interesting.
The end this post I'd like to mention an application I've begun to use, it's an application created by Twitter profile- Aplusk otherwise known as Ashton Kutcher. It's an application that makes tweeting better & more bearable.

#1: Welcome!
So, to get this along - I'd like to say that even though this is probably my fourth blog on blogger, this is the blog were I'll stay active, serious & hopefully entertaining. I've written blogs about the fictive land of Flugelhorn, about JRex (I'm Jeffrey Rex = JRex 2.0) and about scary ghost stories.
Through these blogs an ongoing theme has been ''lack of time, etc.'', & hopefully it won't be the case here at ''I'm Jeffrey Rex''.
This is my welcome post, get ready for a bumpy ride - you'll read & hopefully enjoy my involvement with schoolproducts such as movies and exams, NFL, Twitter, Applications & so on & so forth.
This is my only active blog as of right now, so hopefully some of the people who have been looking at my old blogs will take a look at this one.
